Here we are in July, and it's (well, duh) hot, and the monsoons have yet to share any rain, even though we really, really could use some moisture in these parts before everything turns brown. So I tell Glynn, maybe we should focus on our next novel, it’s time we put the peddle-to-the-metal
on Black Hearted Bride, we have such a fun story to tell –
– when the telephone rings. It’s Nicole, Florida’s taller, cuter, more-alive version of Julia Child. With hubby away on a training exercise, she wants to come visit us for a while.
Nicole, that is, not Julia. And the best news of all? She’s bringing David and Alexander with her.
Or, as the Good Witch said, “Baaaaaaaaaaaabeeeeeees!”
I love me some babies and these babies in particular. (I even made them a dinosaur. Yes, that is TOO a dinosaur.) I can’t wait.
The countdown has already started and the baby-proofing has begun. So, if you’ve been wandering past this spot every Wednesday, well, thank you. Just know that, for the next few Wednesdays, the blog won’t be updated, the Black Hearted Bride won’t be progressing, and all will be well with the world, regardless.
Because. Babies.
